“For me, it was a phase. But I’m not saying bisexuality is a phase for everybody," Jessie J told the U.K. Mirror's 3AM section. “I feel that if I continue my career not speaking on it, I almost touch more of a liar than if I didn’t. I just want to be honest, and it’s really not a giant deal. Who cares?”
The 3AM interview came after a series of vague and verbose tweets posted by the year-old on Sunday, April 6, seemingly addressing her sexuality.
Here's one of those lengthy tweets:

Jessie J: Why I Won’t Label My Sexuality
Ever since Jessie J first revealed - with refreshing candour - that she’s slept with both men and women, she’s been branded ‘openly bisexual’ in the press.
In , when this one detail of who she’d been to bed with threatened to overshadow all her other qualities and achievements, she stated that it was just ‘a phase’ - and predictably got a lot of flak for it.
So when journalist Harvey Marcus touched on it in her WH March issue cover interview he probably didn’t know what sort of response to expect.
Refreshingly what she gave was something open, honest and – I think – hugely important in terms of how we employ people’s sexuality to specify them.
“I just didn’t want to become a spokesperson for anything or anyone,” she said.
“I’ve never denied that I’ve had sex with women and I’ve had sex with men, but I just felt like it was defining me: ‘The bisexual singer, Jessie J…’ And I was enjoy, ‘This is ridiculous. You don’t see ‘The unbent singer, Beyoncé’”.

The year-old singer took to Twitter earlier today to post a lengthy letter in which she blasts the haters and defines her sexual orientation.
"The dislike on my TL is uncalled for and ridiculous!" the Brit beauty wrote. "I never lied about my sexuality, I never labelled myself, the media and some of the public did. I said almost 5 years ago now. I have dated girls and boys. Quote me! Which I had! Am I denying that?No! I was young and I experimented! Who hasn't? Not with just this topic, but anything!
