Florence and the machine gay

Is Florence from Florence and the Machine a lesbian?

Florence and the Machine sometimes has lyrics that can be confusing. Songs prefer My Boy Builds Coffins, Cosmic Love, The Drumming Song, and Kiss With a Fist, all steer to assume that she is into men. The song Girl With One Eye, has such lyrics as "I slipped my hand under her skirt, I said don't fret it's not gonna hurt." This would make you think otherwise. The lyric Girl With One Eye is not an authentic of theirs. It was originally done by a band called the Ludes. She dated one of the band members and began covering the anthem. So, that's where the sexual reference to women would confuse you. She is not a queer woman . However, in a interview by Patrick Hussey from , she does confess to enjoying kissing women. She says, "Well you know girls kissing girls, it's alright! It's a lot softer and the French are, well you know, but I'm direct in England!" The link for that interview is Perhaps bisexual? But not gay.

Also, she has a boyfriend.

I've known Florence + The Machine for awhile but never, in the past, did I bother to watch any videos of them. I was just contented in listening to "Dog Days Are Over" and "Shake It Out". Then, I discovered "Breath Of Life" and wondered how can she perform this live? So I watched a video of Florence + The Machine performing Breath Of Life live. I wasn't disappointed, it was better than the album version. With Florence Welch's energy and passion in singing. You could just feel her.

So, I guess you guys are wondering why I insert this post in the LGBT blog. Actually, I started to like FATM more. I searched videos, songs and pictures. Then I thought, "Why act I keep on focusing in Florence Welch?" Her elegance, her amazing voice, her laugh, her humor and I even study her Bio. Am I attracted to her? No. Attracted is not the word. I am drawn to her. There's something about her that pulls me deeper into adoring this passionate artist.

As I was surfing the internet for her pictures, I saw various photos where in she is kissing a young woman. First I thought, "Maybe it'

The first time I heard a Florence and the Machine song, I was a sweaty, closeted teenager in a hot motorcar, casually getting every cell in my body rearranged by a voice.

It was the summer of , I think. I was riding somewhere with my sister, no AC, and I put my hand out the passenger window, letting the air course through my fingers. “Kiss With a Fist” came on our local alt radio station in Minnesota, and I distinctly think of thinking, without a remnant of irony, God I hope this band has a website. I didn’t know “Kiss With a Fist” was a sonic outlier on Florence and the Machine’s debut LP Lungs (), but it didn’t matter: its punk-lite conceit—a not-particularly-sensitive description of mutual abuse in a relationship by way of setting fires and smashing plates—still lassoed me in with its twisted sensibility.

And, of course, there was that voice, too. That voice. It was layered under DIY, White Stripes-esque production but still gave off a subversive British cool, which seemed love the complete opposite of whatever I was giving off at the period. It was authentically cool—authentic, period.

The voice belonged to a young English singer named Florence Welch, the band’s eponymous

"Strangeness & Charm," Florence + The Machine&#;s sophomore CD, is the most anticipated second coming since the Resurrection and since the brilliant band has been touring the globe, snippets of fresh music have been making their way into the ether.

Bonaroo served up the title track [listen] while last night they took to LA&#;s Greek Theater and delivered another newbie, the anthemic "Lay Me Down." With haunting lyrics and a heart-pounding drumbeat, it&#;s clear there will be no sophomore slump here!

She looks gorgeous in the yellow dress. I would &#;&#;DIE&#;&#; to observe her in concert. I always seems to fail to catch out.
