I am going to be extremely fandom elder here for a moment. I think what Ry is eddie gay in 911

9-1-1 Season 8, Episode 11 “Holy Mother of God,” doesn’t feature Eddie Diaz (Ryan Guzman). Instead, at the end of Episode 10 “Voices,” the personality said goodbye to Los Angeles and his finest friend, Buck, and left for El Paso to be with his son Christopher. The episode, however, turns out to be an important Eddie one as it’s the first episode of the exhibit to truly address the subtext about Eddie’s sexuality.

Is Eddie Diaz gay? Many fans have wondered that before, and not just because they shipped him with his best acquaintance Buck, but because many queer fans have identified elements of queer coding in the character. There’s also the fact that Eddie, a conventionally attractive man, has only dated three women in his life.

There’s Shannon, his childhood friend whom he was pretty much pressured into marrying because he got her pregnant.  Then there’s Anna, a woman he specifically dated because he thought his son needed a mother, but then proceeded to have panic attacks about it. And Marisol, whom he rushed into a relationship with, once again trying to find the perfect mom for Christopher or the woman his parents would approve off, and then ran away from—straight into the arms of a S

"eddie isn't queer/gay," you declare. "he is straight in canon, so him creature gay is just a head canon. it's ok for others to ponder of him as unbent because that's what he is."

let's ignore for a second the fact that eddie has never ever ever ever not even once, said in canon that he is a heterosexual very straight guy. seriously!!! he has never once said it!!! if i am "assuming" he's gay then you are also "assuming" he is straight even though he has never once said it!!

how do you believe we got bi buck as canon? like i am serious right now, answer the question. how do you think we go bi buck canon? evan buckley was never conceived to be a bisexual man at the beginning of 911. the reason we have evan buckley as a canonically bisexual character today is because us, queer fans of 911, interpreted him and headcanoned him as bisexual. i would travel even further and state that it was us, BUDDIE FANS, who interpreted him and headcanoned him as bi. even before the writers were explicitly writing him as attracted to both genders. we read his deeds and his story and his identity and said: "this is a bi character!" and the wr

Editor's note: The below contains spoilers for 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 6.

Eddie Diaz (Ryan Guzman) was first introduced in the Season 2 premiere of 9-1-1to the tune of Salt-N-Pepa's "Whatta Man," as Evan "Buck" Buckley (Oliver Stark) angrily watched him from afar. Buck and Eddie quickly became best friends, but since then, there has always been a certain undertone to their relationship. When a mall elf mistakenly told Buck that he and Eddie had an adorable son in Season 2, Buck didn't correct her. Additionally, every time that one of them has a near-death experience, the other one just crumbles. None of their romantic relationships have ever been proficient to hold a candle to their bond, which remains true as of this week's episode.

Season 8, Episode 6, "Confessions," sees the dissolution of Buck's relationship with Tommy Kinard (Lou Ferrigno Jr.)... the day after they rejoice their six-month anniversary. Buck is initially dismayed to learn that he and Tommy share an old flame (Connie Britton's Abby Clark), but he quickly bounces back from this after an encou
