Depends on how you define the pos "gay". If you represent "gay " as in
joyful, he does have a song out called "I Could Get Used To Being
Happy." Sometime, you ought to listen to the song "Rumor Mill." George
Younce did it on a Cathedrals tape and it's on his latest solo project.
It applies well to

Wikipedia entry on Mark Lowry.

His official website.

A good YouTube clip, with the full context of the “had enough” joke mentioned in the piece.

Another one, with the full context of the “Lord laid down his life” joke mentioned in the piece.

Astonishingly beautiful show of “Mary, Did You Know?” with Voctave, the acapella group, here.

Pastor makes the announcement with a small smile.

He and Mrs. Pastor have been greatly blessed of God and are delighted to tell us that our church will have a new member in seven months.

Praise God! Thank you, Jesus! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!!

The congregation rejoices. They jump to their feet, applauding, raising hands to heaven, shouting in excitement.

On the first row—far left side, proximate the monitors where she can hear better than other places in the sanctuary—a little girl hasn’t moved.

She sits, leader tilted down, looking just under the frames of her glasses, staring at her shoes.

She has a lot to think about.

When Mrs. Pastor is pregnant, many things change.

The following is excerpted from The Directory of Contemporary Worship Musicians.

Bill and Gloria Gaither represent the heart and soul of Southern Gospel today.

Bill and Gloria Gaither are graduates of Anderson College, a Church of God school, and attend a Nazarene church. They have written some very popular and well-known gospel music, such as “He Touched Me,” “Thanks to Calvary,” and “There’s Something about That Name.” Since the early 1990s, the Gaither’s Homecoming audio and video series has dramatically increased the popularity of Southern Gospel melody in this generation.

Sadly, the Gaithers have used their vast influence to promote the lie that harmony is neutral and thus to encourage the thick inroads that the society has made into Southern Gospel. They have also promoted the “non-judgmental” heresy and the unscriptural ecumenical movement with its doctrinal tolerance and its lack of concern about doctrinal purity.

Gaither Believes that Harmony Is Neutral

In the 1980s Gaither bought into contemporary Christian music’s foundational premise that “MUSIC IS NEUTRAL” and that any type of raunchy music can be used to glorify God.

Who's gay in Gospel music?

I watch the Gaither Reunion shows from time to time and I contain to say there look to be a number of flamers in the gospel world. Mark Lowry, for one.

Who else?

Cynthia Clawson isn't lgbtq+ but she's very same-sex attracted positive, apparently. She's taken a lot of heat from the more conservative fundamentalist elements of the gospel world but she's sticking to her guns. Beautiful voice, too. Fascinating that Bill Gaither chooses to include and highlight her all the time.

Vestal Goodman also loved the gays, apparently. She's seemed like a big-hearted loving sort of woman who truly loved everyone.

Not quite gospel, but what about Mchael Tate? He pinged big period when he was in DC Talk. So did TobyMac for that matter. Wish both would be gay.

That guy who hosts the gospel show on BET sure seems gay.
