Watch the 55th LA Identity festival Parade
The 55th annual LA Pride Parade rolled through its original historic location in the heart of Hollywood on Sunday. You can watch it in the video player above.
The parade route began at Sunset Blvd. and Highland Ave. heading north, then east onto Hollywood Blvd., then south onto Cahuenga Blvd., ending at Sunset Blvd. and Cahuenga Blvd.
The route was approximately one mile long, consisting of revelers from SoCal's highest LGBTQ+ nonprofits, employee resource groups, city agencies, local, regional, and national businesses, clubs, bands, floats, and more than a not many surprises.
The 2025 Grand Marshals were Vanguard Grand Marshals Niecy Nash and Jessica Betts, Celebrity Grand Marshal Andrew Rannells, and Society Grand Marshals Trino Garcia and Adam Vasquez, aka "TrinoxAdam" - viral Angelenos who are overcoming stereotypes through their unexpected affectionate story.

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - In celebration of Pride Month, Los Angeles Sunday will host its 55th Annual Pride Parade in Hollywood, followed by a free street festival despite the ongoing immigration-related unrest downtown, in Paramount and other nearby communities.
"At LA Event , your safety is our top priority," organizers said on social media. "In light of recent reports of ICE activity across the region, we desire our community -- especially our undocumented, immigrant, and mixed- status families -- to know that we are actively working with local Law Enforcement to ensure a safe and welcoming environment at all Pride events.
"We stand with you. We see you. And we will perform everything in our control to protect and sustain our community."
LA Pride Celebration is the oldest, largest and longest-running event in Southern California, according to Christopher Street West, the nonprofit that produces the event. More than 100,000 people are expected to attend the LGBTQ+ procession on Hollywood Boulevard.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Weeks after the Eaton and Palisades Fires, Hollywood and the music industry joined together to raise money for fire victims with FireAid -- donating $100 million.
Now, six months later, how is the funding existence used?
7 On Your Side Investigates Reporter Kevin Ozebek spoke with some of the recipients.
Roughly 120 organizations split $50 million when the first round of FireAid funds was released in February. 7 On Your Side tried reaching out to every available one of them, and heard back from more than 50 to uncover out how the wealth is being used.
The biggest names in music raised big money during the event, and now, it's helping people like Michael Towns, who is playing the piano again as he rebuilds his life.
In January, Towns came place to see the Altadena house he inherited up in flames.
He's uninsured and is playing his piano in a rental thanks to financial assistance from the non-profit organization Door of Hope, which received $100,000 from FireAid.

ABC News Correspondent Gio Benitez Marries Tommy DiDario
— -- ABC News Correspondent Gio Benitez married boyfriend Tommy DiDario Saturday.
The two wed in front of family, friends and ABC News colleagues inside the historic Walton House in Miami, Florida.
"It's so special to see how excited our friends and family include been about this wedding," Benitez said in a statement to People magazine. "It truly is a celebration of love –- our own, and what love means in their own lives. We are so moved and humbled to celebrate together."
Kevin Ozebek, an international correspondent, served as best man for Benitez, 30, and Megs, the sister of DiDario, also 30, officiated the ceremony.
ABC News journalists, including Martha Raddatz, Rebecca Jarvis, Kendis Gibson, Cecilia Vega and Alex Perez, along with Sam Champion and "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry attended the nuptials.
Before the big day, the couple held a pre-wedding event in Key Largo, Florida.
Benitez and DiDario got engaged last September when the ABC News correspondent dropped down to one knee in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
