Who's Gay in K-Pop? Pt.1
It’s almost inevitable in K-pop that same-sex couples will be shipped, from almost every band. And with each couple that is shipped, you also become the people who rant about how none of our oppars and unnirs are actually gay, and same-sex shippers are delusional, and can’t tell the difference between fanservice and homosexuality(bisexuality & pansexuality included). But I want to look beyond shipping and fanservice, and girl collective dances to take a valid look at who may actually fall somewhere between the middle and beyond of the Kinsey scale. I do ship, I won’t lie and pretend that I don’t. I think it’s a normal part of entity a human, and creature involved in pop tradition, since there seem to be ships in literally every fandom that exists on Earth, including NBA, Harry Potter, Star Trek, and just about anything you can think of. But some ships are just for fun, and aren’t truly as questionable as others. Please undergo free to talk to me about anyone in K-pop or any Asian entertainment that you reflect might actually be homosexual, or that you consider I’m way off ground about, but in this post, I will be discussing a few of the K-Pop idols who I think are lgbtq+ and
“Oppa’s not gay because XYZ…”
Every time I hear one of these arguments about some idol not creature gay because of whatever, I want to rip my hair out.
This comes on the heels of more rumors about GD possibly having a girlfriend, possibly Kiko Mizuhara, possibly CL, possibly all this bullshit.
Before I go into this any further, I would like to commence by saying I don’t assert that G-Dragon is definitely gay, bi, or whatever and definitely you’re wrong that he’s direct. My beliefs on his sexuality are besides the point, in this case (though you will watch my opinion here, too). But my point here is: being in a heterosexual relationship does not disprove the possibility of homosexual attraction/interaction.
Let’s start with the clearest and most obvious reason why it does not, especially in Korea, and especially especially for idols. I possess said this about 10,000 times, but I’ll tell it again: homosexuality is not, is NOT, standard in Korea. There is literally one (1) out gay celebrity, and even he had his career pretty much ruined for around 10 years for being gay.

Well, I guess a more precise answer would be maybe. I get the mark that he feels fond he has something to prove about his masculinity. I have probably answered about him before, but I’ll try to describe it again.
For a drawn-out time, Taemin was the cute one, the infant, and he was always said to “look appreciate a girl.” I reflect that bothered him a lot, and recently, he seems to be trying his hardest to be seen as a guy. BUT! I think he’s still a bit of an innocent, and I think he’s still ruling himself. I think he would like to ponder of himself as straight… but I think there’s a strong possibility that he has had attraction to other males. I don’t think he’s necessarily conflicted about that, but rather that he doesn’t know, yet. In the sense that he probably doesn’t really have a handle on his have sexuality, which is probably why it’s so tough to read him.
