If you are looking for the best gay clubs and gay bars in Gran Canaria (Maspalomas) then look no further!
We hold been to Gran Canaria over 8 times now and for good reason. It is one of the most welcoming and gay friendly destinations we have ever travelled to and has some astonishing gay nightlife.
The majority of the gay bars in Gran Canaria can be found in the Yumbo Centre in Maspalomas. The Yumbo centre is a large multi level outdoor shopping centre by daytime and home to the biggest gay scene in Gran Canaria by night.
On our last visit we counted that there were over 30 gay bars and clubs in the Yumbo Centre alone ranging from drag bars, to casual bars, clubs and cruising bars.
We are always completely spoilt for decision when it comes to choosing a gay lock in Gran Canaria which is why we contain put together a shortlist of our personal favorites. [no_toc]
The idea (or challenge) is to follow this list in order for the perfect big same-sex attracted night out in the Yumbo Centre!
Please note, the Yumbo Centre gets super busy, especially during movement and it’s known for pickpockets – we contain never had a challenge but just be aware.

Best Gay Bars in Gran Canari
Picture a 4-story giant shopping center full of lgbtq+ bars, shops, clubs, performative bars, restaurants…basically, a colossal gay playground! This is the Jumbo Centre, the beating heart and heart of Gran Canaria's homosexual scene.
Gran Canaria is one of the gayest places in the world. Part of the Canary Islands archipelago, this teeny unassuming Spanish Island, is located just 93 miles ( km) off the northwestern coast of Africa (between the Moroccan and Western Saharan waters).
We certainly rate Gran Canaria as one of our favorite gay holiday destinations in Europe as well as one of the top gay travel destinations in the world. It is days of complete fabulousness, with gay events taking place throughout the year. There's always something happening in Gran Canaria, which is why we admire it!

Gay Gran Canaria
It’s no private that Gran Canaria is a great party destination and a fantastic all-round spot for gay travellers. The nightlife around Maspalomas is quite notorious, especially at the Yumbo Centre where you'll find most of the gay bars. The Yumbo Centre is a mecca for homosexual nightlife, and you’ll identify everything from bear bars to pop palaces.
The island's capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, combines historic charm with modern vibrancy, boasting a captivating mix of cultural sites, shopping districts, and culinary delights. You can explore quieter towns like Puerto Morgan and Bahia Felize, where the beaches are less crowded and the nightlife is less high-octane.
If you're looking for a unrestrained gay party vacation, then head to Maspalomas. It's more affordable than Mykonos, but you can hold as much shameless joy, should the mood seize you.
