A
Abro (sexual and romantic)
A word used to characterize people who have a fluid sexual and/or quixotic orientation which changes over time, or the course of their life. They may use different terms to describe themselves over time.
Ace
An umbrella term used specifically to describe a lack of, varying, or occasional experiences of sexual attraction. This encompasses asexual people as well as those who identify as demisexual and grey-sexual. Ace people who experience idealistic attraction or occasional sexual attraction might also apply terms such as queer , bi, lesbian, straight and queer in conjunction with asexual to describe the direction of their quixotic or sexual attraction.
Ace and aro/ace and aro spectrum
Umbrella terms used to outline the wide group of people who experience a lack of, varying, or occasional experiences of affectionate and/or sexual attraction, including a lack of attraction. People who identify under these umbrella terms may describe themselves using one or more of a wide variety of terms, including, but not limited to, asexual, ace, aromantic, aro, demi, grey, and abro. People may also use terms such as gay,

LGBTQ
Acronym for woman loving woman, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer. The Q generally stands for queer when LGBTQ organizations, leaders, and media use the acronym. In settings offering assist for youth, it can also stand for questioning. LGBT and LGBTQ+ are also used, with the + added in recognition of all non-straight, non-cisgender identities. Women usually question whether they are heterosexual ('straight') or lesbian (same-sex attracted) when they realise they are feeling attracted to other women. Lesbians usually tell their main physical, heartfelt and sexual feelings are for women. Many women report they have queer woman experiences or feelings, but do not think of themselves as lesbians or gay.
Being a lesbian is completely natural
It is vital to remember that:
- It is natural for people to be attracted to members of their own sex.
- It is normal and healthy to be a lesbian.
Why some women are lesbians
There is no true explanation as to why some women are lesbians and others are not – it is just a part of who we are. It may be a result of genetic influences or because of social experiences or a combination of the two.
Some people recognise their attractions at an initial age, while others don't develop attractions until adequately into adulthood. Many new people begin to advance feelings and attractions for people of the identical sex during their teenage years.

Lesbian
Lesbian (also known as gay woman[1] or homosexual woman[2]) is defined as women, women-aligned (selenian), and/or feminine-aligned (artemian) individuals who experience gayattraction to women/lunarians and/or feminine individuals. This attraction is most commonly used to refer to those experiencing exclusive wlw/nblw attraction, as communities surrounding those who are exclusively wlw/nblw possess become the primary part of the lesbian collective. However, there is no one perfect definition that encompasses all experiences of lesbianism. This term includes butch, femme, non-binary, anonbinary, cusper, and multigender individuals. Lesbians are the girl counterparts to gay men and fall under the homosexual/homoromantic and monosexual/monoromanticumbrellas.
