it’s such a fun ship in general but my favorite thing about it is just HOW MUCH ford is bill’s undoing. how bill has all this power over ford until he blows up their relationship purely by his own actions, and then suddenly FORD has unprecedented power over BILL, purely by nature of refusing to love him anymore. and it just drives bill CRAZY because even with all his powers and his manipulation over ford’s mind and body, he can’t supervise the way he FEELS. i love that. i love when bill ruins good things for himself and has to exist with the consequences. and losing ford was the first time since euclydia that the consequences of his actions really offend him, i think.
and another thing i devote in stories is when one character wrongs another and then their lives go on, but the victim never forgives the perpetrator, and they’re never pressured or guilted about it. because nobody owes anybody forgiveness, and i HATE when stories aim to frame it prefer you have to overlook people who hurt you in order to relocate on. you don’t. and i love when a
